感想
環境問題のうち、プラスチックの話題は近ごろホットなトピックな気がする。例えばスタバのプラスチックストロー廃止の話など。
昔からマイタンブラーやマイ箸のような資源を無駄にしない試みは多くあったけど、どれも深く定着していないのでは。
むしろ自然に分解されるプラスチックとか自然素材のものを導入するなどした方が筋が良さそうだと思うけど、どうなんだろう。
あとで英語の感想も書きます。

Impressions
Among all environmental issues, plastic is one of the hottest topics in these days. For example, Starbucks announced to stop using plastic straw globally by 2020.
Obviously, it's a very good movement towards environmental sustainable society. But, to be honest, I'm a bit skeptical about how many companies will agree and follow these this kind of decision.
Also, will it really be accepted by all consumers? People who regularly uses my tumbler or my-chopsticks is not that many.
IMO, it might be more effective to introduce biodegradable plastics than to offer consumers to use reusable packages.
